Look what arrived on #starwarsday ! Our backup interface bit the dust recently, and it was time to #bitethebullet and #upgrade. For close to twenty years my primary ad/da interface has been an #rmefireface800 . It’s been rock solid for all that time, and still works with my apple silicon Mac. So when it was time to replace it, I went with the #rmefireface802 which is the next generation up from the 800. I hope this one lasts me another two decades. The 800 is now my backup interface. Since both units have #wordclock IO, the 800 will inherit the next generation stability of the 802. We are now operating with 22 high quality a/d inputs.
